These new F370 features allow lessons to be accelerated – students can focus on design and engineering as well as introduce more complex geometry and curvatures which were previously limited by subtractive methods and hand tools.
The Stratasys F370 features the all-new fast-draft mode. Prints can be completed in half the time as a standard build while consuming just a third of the material on average. Faster printing means that more projects can be completed – this can be the difference between projects being completed by the end of class instead of the next day.
Students are also finding the Stratasys F370 easier and more intuitive to use thanks to the GrabCAD Print software. GrabCAD allows students to print directly from their CAD files instead of spending hours converting and fixing STL files. Detailed views of their models, including tray and slice previews, help students to diagnose problem areas like thin walls and correct toolpath issues before printing. GrabCAD also allows for seamless sharing of projects and files from any device, allowing for more collaboration and creation.
Fast and easy material swaps as well access to multiple materials are additional benefits of the Stratasys F370 3D Printer. ABS-M30, ASA, PC-ABS or the economical PLA*, along with easy-to-remove soluble support gives students and instructors the ability to choose the material to match project requirements.
