College receives gift from FANUC America and Allegheny Educational Systems

Penn State Altoona’s Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology program (EMET) just expanded with the purchase of four FANUC industrial grade automation robots.

The school was able to replace their 20-year-old robots with the help of a gift agreement through FANUC America and Allegheny Educational Systems. The new robots will allow students to experience current FANUC technology and prepare them for high-tech careers in automation and production.

Allegheny Educational Systems is proud to be part of this partnership and will work alongside the students and faculty in the coming years to make this a successful collaboration.
